Timesheets, material requisitions, safety checklists, expenses — every one buried behind fancy menus and a dozen taps, slow to load, leaning on a café's WiFi or the last bar of signal. By the time an operative has fought their way to the start of the form, most have given up and gone back to pen and paper.

And there's a whole group those platforms forgot completely: the small contractor with a crew on the ground. The best features in the world are no use once the price has scaled past what the business can justify — you end up paying for a full HR or CRM system and using half of it. You don't need all that.
